In the past, New Hyde Park has had some great players that have been recognized in the New Hyde Park Hall of Fame and... the Newsday All-Long Island List. Here's a list of players/ coaches from New Hyde Park Memorial that have been recognized with this honor over the years:

Most Rushing Yards in a Season (17th most in Nassau County history)- 1996- Chris Nacewicz- 1,500 yards in 8 games

Most Rushing Yards in a Game (30th most in Nassau County history)- October 14th, 2000- John Parisi- 309 yards on 15 attempts against Mineola

Most Passing Yards in a Season (6th most in Nassau County history)- 1970- 1,495 yards- 80 completions on 151 pass attempts with 16 touchdown passes (Bob Avellini)

Most Interceptions in a Season (11th most in Nassau County history)- 1982- 10 interceptions

Fewest Points allowed in a Season (5th least)- 1977- only 7 points which led to a 9-0 record on the year

Martone Award (awarded to the top lineman in Nassau County)- Herbert Butzke in 1978

Thorp Award (awarded to the best play in Nassau County)- Herbert Butzke in 1978 as well and to Anthony Cappellino in 1983

Wins by Coaches (33rd most in Long Island History)- 97 by Angelo Giugliano
